This report outlines the impacts of climate change and also considers other factors, such as political uncertainties and a fragmented forest landscape. It also identifies practical implications and response measures for the wood-based industry, forest management and policymakers. The study is based on cutting edge research and evaluated perspectives of different stakeholders.
The event aimed to catalyze actionable strategies for integrating biodiversity into forest management, while ensuring the resilience and productivity of forest ecosystems.
The third Think Tank Meeting, hosted by IUFRO and Mondi, was held in Vienna on 15-16 June 2023 and brought together over 40 representatives from science, business, and forestry stakeholders.
The IUFRO-Mondi Partnership held its 2nd Think Tank Meeting in Vienna, Austria, on 3 November 2022 with more than 20 participants representing science, forest industry and policy.
The IUFRO-Mondi Partnership hosted a meeting for forest stakeholders representing Pan-Europe In June 2022. 24 participants engaged in a half day workshop, followed by an excursion the following day.
As part of the IUFRO-Mondi Partnership, the 1st Think Tank Meeting was held in Vienna, Austria, on the 21st of October 2021 with 27 participants from 12 countries, representing science and forest industry.
